Bonfire Night locations
« on: October 29, 2012, 09:16:12 PM »
Does anyone know where I could find a list of Bonfire/Guy Fawkes Night celebrations?  I really would like to go to a local Bonfire Night. Last year we were on our honeymoon, so I missed it.

I've only found one under our local council website.

Check your local newspaper. There should be listings of all the bonfires in your area.

Local weekly newspaper should have plenty listed.

Roundhay Park in Leeds is the biggest show that I know of around here. Hyde Park also does a good show. That's the one we usually go to. Just about all of the major parks in Leeds have their own shows but Roundhay is by far the biggest.

I think we're going to take the girls to a bonfire this year. It'll be a bit past their bedtime but I'm excited about showing it to them.
