Coleman Lanterns
« on: November 09, 2012, 08:52:55 PM »
So.. about a 2 years ago we started camping, and I wanted a Coleman lantern, so bought one, then found a Coleman collectors forum, and started reading about them, and getting obsessed with them.  This is my collection so far:

All Coleman, short one next to brown one is a custom lantern out of Coleman parts.  Little iron at top is a 1920's Coleman iron.  Blue parts cabinet is from the 60's and sat in a hardware store in Michigan until last year when I got it, it would of been used for when someone needed the lantern worked on, and they would of pulled parts out of it. Oldest lantern is 1926, newest 1993.  Most came from the states, average price between $10-$20, then shipping of $50-$60, costs way too much.

So if anyone has Coleman lanterns they no longer want, sell them to me!  ;D ;D ;D

That is an awesome collection! My Coleman (which sorry I would never part with) is in storage back in the States and I've had for about 12 years now. I think ours is on your middle shelf  ;D  They are great.
