I had an in-person appointment on Friday, 7 Dec. My husband and I didn't have any official correspondance in our names, so I brought six letters for each of us. For my husband, I had bills- Sky, electric, council tax, property & estate, Natwest, mortgage- three for 2011 and three for 2012 (but I believe I added one from late December 2010, as well, since my visa was approved on 29-12-2010). For me, since the bills are all in my husband's name, I had ones from NHS, Natwest, Fedloans, HM Revenue, a letter from Veterans' Affairs for my post-9/11 G.I. Bill, and university; again, three for 2011 and three for 2012 (but I failed to bring something from early 2011).

What I had failed to miss, was that on one of the council tax bills, it was for 'single occupancy' and this was during the period my husband was deployed, but I was still living in our flat. And of course, my case-worker picked up on that.

So, she sends me away with a letter requesting more evidence of us living together.

The council tax one is not a problem, my husband was able to call them and they're going to have a letter stating why the bill was for single occupancy and that will be ready for me to pick up on Monday. Also, I think I should be able to get a letter from my employer with my address stating I was working there from about Feb 2011 to the end of June 2011 (I would have provided my pay stubbs, but my employer never printed my address on them). And, if she needs more from me, would veterinary letters work?

What confuses (bothers, even) me the most at the moment, is that even though she said my husband's evidence were fine, she's asking for futher documentary evidence from March 2011 to October 2011 and from April 2012 to October 2012. If she said he was fine, why is she asking for more? And if originally, we're suppose to provide only six letters for the course of two years, why is she asking for even more for every month listed above? I feel like I'm being bullied..

Thanks in advance for any help!

They are supposed to be spread evenly over the two years, so maybe that is the issue?
