Thumb Straight
« on: April 20, 2004, 10:25:01 AM »
Glenns mum noticed yesturday that Juliona's right thumb wont go straight up, it stops part way up but is still bent. Now Glenn had this problem when he was a toddler too and it took surgery to fix it. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and when I should start worring about it. It dont seem to bother her any at the moment but I dont want it to become a problem when she gets older.

Well we went to the app and yes she needs surgery not only on her right thumb which is the worst but it is in her left one as well. So once we have insurance in the states we are going to have them both dealt with at the same time.

It was actually a relief to find out that it can be fixed. And she was so good with the nice doctor man for a change.

Will your US insurance cover her? Remember, a lot of them won't take on pre-existing conditions. Make sure you find out before not having something done here!

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
