Desperate for an answer.

Hello all, my apologies if this topic has been discussed and I am adding a new thread. After arriving in the UK and married July, we send our application via post for permanent stay in August. I finally completed my biometrics on November 30 and still waiting for biometric card.
Anyone has any idea of how long it takes to receive the card. Please help. Tired of being at home with no work. Thanks to all.

Currently applications are taking up to 9 months to be processed (about 3-6 months from the biometrics date)

Today, we just had someone who applied in February 2012 finally receive his documents back and his biometrics card will come next week!

A few people who applied around July/August time have already received their cards, but they did their biometrics back around September time.

I'll add that the people who have gotten it so far did their biometrics no later than September 3 as far as I can see. We still have a lot of applicants with May biometrics who are awaiting decisions.
