Flights
« on: January 28, 2013, 10:43:50 PM »
I know this would seem like it should go in another section of the board but I believe this is the forum I initially saw the thread I am inquiring about-
Someone within the last 6 months (I think?) posted something about some travel site that had unbelievably cheap flights. It was the type of thing (again, I think?) where you just enter the place you are leaving from and the place you are going to and it comes up with a list for you. But it wasn't anything I had heard of before. I think the person said they got their flights for some amazing price like $60 or something and I looked at the site and sure enough it was true, and I thought I bookmarked it but apparently I did not. And I don't remember who it was that posted it AND I also can't find anything about it when I do a search so I am hoping someone remembers what I am talking about.
Ugh so frustrating. Anyone know?  ???
9/11/2012 Husband mailed his US citizenship application.
9/17/2012 Received e-mail stating his application has been entered into the system.
9/22/2012 Hubby received letter with date for finger printing.
10/12/12 Hubby went for finger printing.
10/26/12 Dh got a letter stating when he should appear for his interview and test- 11/27/12- just a month away!!!
11/27/12 We went to dh's interview and test- he passed and we went back 4 hours later for the Oath Ceremony! 95 people from 38 countries, really pretty cool!

The only thing I can think of that cheap were the one-way Virgin tickets on SkyAuction. Maybe that's it?

Thanks for the replies. I think it may have been SkyAuction... I still can't find the thread. Going to scope out SkyAuction, has anyone used them?

I haven't used SkyAuction but I do keep an eye out by using Airfarewatchdog.com.
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…
