Shared Equity Mortgages
« on: January 14, 2013, 09:09:30 AM »
Anyone have any experience with shared equity mortgages?

Pros and Cons?

I can see you only own say 80-85% of the value and selling can become complicated-

But I don't know too much about them really, so I'm looking for thoughts.

I don't know the answer, but this may help.

I'd also consider getting legal and independent financial advice to understand the strengths and pitfalls of such an arrangement.
