Found: Pepperidge Farm Cookies!
« on: January 31, 2013, 08:23:42 PM »
I've just seen Pepperidge Farm Cookies in Tesco for the first time today! I got that strange feeling of sheer happiness/excitement/homesickness all at once, and then the £2.50 price tag for 8 cookies doesn't even phase me and it's automagically in my basket!

They had 4 or 5 flavors of their chocolate chip style cookie:  Double Chocolate, Dark Chocolate & Pecan, Dark Chocolate Brownie, and Soft-Baked Milk Chocolate Chunk.

I think these have been spotted before in the big shops, but as I can only get myself to are the "Metro, Local, and Express" versions of grocery stores, I was quite pleased!

You can buy Milanos and other Pepperidge Farm products in ASDA (or at least you could - can't find them on their website at the moment). I bought some orange Milano cookies from the ASDA in Lincoln in September 2011.

Last time I looked (a few weeks ago), the large ASDA store in Bristol had almost half an aisle of US cookies and candy - Tootsie Rolls, Pepperidge Farm cookies, Herseys etc.

kbeech - pshh. I'm always dieting. I don't care. Haha!

ksand - ahhh....well it's a good thing that our little ASDA isn't within walking distance, or I'd be sitting in one of their aisles surrounded by empty wrappers *nom nom nom nom* :)

About 10 years ago, they were in all the shops. At some point, they just disappeared - but it looks as though they're back!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who noticed and got really excited!

Also at tesco, they have GOLDFISH, but they're called "Finz!"

I scared my husband when I gasped and pointed at the Lucky Charms and Froot Loops haha. Lucky Charms are a ridiculous £5 a box but definitely tempting!
