Hello,
My fiance is currently working in France until the end of April and he has been offered a new employment contract with the same company in London. His contract in France ends April 26, he will return to the UK on April 29, we will marry in the US on May 16th and he will start his contract in London on May 27th. We intend to apply sometime in June when we have the documents we need to demonstrate proof of housing.
Given these dates, I have two questions about providing proof:
1) Reading paragraph 4 here:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/policyandlaw/immigrationlaw/immigrationrules/appendix-fmse/ it looks like we have to send the new employment contract that starts within 3 months of his return to the UK. Does this mean we don't have to submit bank statements or wage slips for May or June (since there will not be any wage slips and bank statements will not show wages being deposited)? Can we just send the relevant info from April 2012-April 2013? Or do we have to wait until he's begun receiving wages?
2) It will be difficult for him to get his bank in France to authenticate his e-statement for April since he will no longer be in France when it's disbursed. Could we instead send a UK statement showing he's moved money into that account?
Thanks!
