Spouse Visa Success!
« on: March 20, 2013, 08:09:38 PM »
I received my spousal visa today!  Yay!!!

It was a very smooth and fast process for me.  (I received my visa less than a week after my application arrived at Sheffield.)  The only part that ticked me off had nothing to do with the UKBA.  Rather, the UPS delivery guy left the package on my doorstep, even though it clearly required a signature.  Normally I wouldn't care, but not when my passport's sitting inside!

In any event, I'm very pleased and so thankful for all the help I received on UKY.

Congrats!!!

I'm flying out next Wednesday! I hope your move goes smoothly with your new quarters and whatnot. Hubby got the keys to ours yesterday, and I've finally been able to get a glimpse of what the inside looks like...needless to say I can't wait to spruce it up a bit (okay, maybe a lot!) x

Amazing!! I am getting ready to go back to the states in a couple of months to begin the spousal visa process and am so happy to see some reasonable processing times and not hear horror stories.

I have been busy getting our first home decorated and all set up and I would hate to be stuck away for a long time. I have endured the winter here for so long I couldn't stand to miss any mildly warm weather.

Thank you all for returning my confidence in the process!
