Just stopping in to say hello. I will be departing for the UK on Sunday and a bit nervous, but I guess we'll see.

I'm sure I will be coming by here quite often :)

Thank you for the warm welcome  :) we just arrived a few hours ago and i still cant wrap my mind around not having a home in the US anymore.

So a little bit about me... My wife (English) and I, moved back here (Lincolnshire area) to take care of her father as he has become ill and is losing his eye sight. I was able to keep my job in the US and work remote so today has been a struggle already trying with the different voltages and my power cables (I've already blown one!).

There is so much to do and it seems so overwhelming atm but tomorrow I will hopefully have most of it worked out.

Sorry for any typos - no sleep plus iPad keyboard is horrible.

Im not from the area you in right now, but anyway, sorry to hear about family issues and perhaps a sad time to visit the UK for you.
Find a nice country pub local to you and enjoy the old fashioned drinks by the fire place ;-)
