Is it worth shipping furniture back to the USA?

We're moving back to California in 2014.  We have a mahogony bedroom set we would like to ship back. But is it worth the cost; whatever that might be.  We will have at least a partial container for items we are shipping back.

If it's something you love, yes.

I agree- if you want to ship it back and can do, do it.   

Some of the bed sizes in the US are slightly different than in the UK, so take that into consideration if you bought the set in the UK and will need to buy a new mattress or bedding in the US down the road.
