American CDL

I am moving to the UK in a few months. I am currently a truck driver in the US with a class A CDL. How do i get the UK equivalent of that and how long does it take. Also does anyone know how profitable the truck driving jobs are there? 

You'd have to take your British car driving test first, and then you'd have to take the truck test. I think there's a waiting period between the two. Do a Google search for the DVLA for more details, though.
