Who Needs to/Can attend Greencard Interview
« on: May 12, 2013, 05:37:12 PM »
Our visa interview is in a few weeks and we just received the invitation letter.

Quote
It says "If you need to bring your carer, translator, or US Citizen spouse/fiance to assist you during your time at the Embassy, please send us their full name as soon as possible so that we may arrange their access to the Embassy. Please let them know that they are required to bring photographic ID such as their passport with them.

So, I thought I was required to attend. Am I?

Should I send my name in if I am? And they don't say WHERE to send the name.

I also have a newborn daughter that would need to come with us, who hasn't even had her appointment to register her birth yet- so I wouldn't have a photo ID for her- has anyone had experience with this? (tried searching but didn't come up with anything specific)

Can we bring bottles into the embassy too? (will check the other board)

If it is not mandatory for me to go I would prefer it, as I have to go again for my daughters Notification of Birth Abroad thing and plus I am still on maternity leave and particularly unwilling to change out of my pajamas. ;D

You aren't required to attend.
