E notification

Another question...we sent our i 130 packet off a couple of weeks ago to the address listed on the checklist the Embassy gives out (USCIS, Dept of Homeland Security, Embassy address) but no e notification yet. It was sent special delivery so I know it got there, but it looks like others have gotten e notification within a few days.

Have you checked your spam folder? Ours was sent there and I only noticed because I went to delete everything in there and did a quick look at what was there....and there it was.

Did they take your payment out?

They did, so it's probably all fine, but it would still be nice to know how long to expect for processing. Also do you get any sort of case number with the e notification?

This page says that they are processing applications from April 1st, as of May 1st. I got my e-notification on the 19th of April I think & they wait time said 3 months.... I am eagerly anticipating the arrival any day regardless lol!!

Hey...we got ours on the 19th too! I check my email every day...eagerly anticipate the post man...and answer emails from hubby saying, "did anything come in the post!"

Our NOA1 came today   Nothing by email this time.


Actually I'm editing to say...we got our NOA2 as its a notice of approval of relative immigrant visa petition. Took less than a month  BUT, this is also our second time so maybe it sped things up a bit??
