Berkshire / Reading area - Get together?

I am an American living in Wokingham, Berkshire with my English boyfriend.  I'm interested in meeting other US/UK couples or individuals.  I'm 31 with no kids.

Maybe there is a small group of us that could plan a night together?

I am living in Oxford with my husband which is not very far away from Reading. It is about a 20-30 ride on the train. I am 30 and do not have any children either. If you are interested in trying to plan something let me know .

Glad to see others with no children (no offense to any parents, of course!).  I'm 31 also with no children, and live in Camberley not far from Wokingham or Reading. I know a few good places in each where we could meet up.  Could probably even drag the husband along

My husdand (31) and I (26) live in Abingdon between Oxford and Reading and I work in Reading so I would love to meet up sometime. We don't have any children either and as my husband is English and not from here, we don't know alot of people locally. Anyone have any ideas of somewhere interesting or fun near Reading?

When in Reading, I always make a visit to Zero Degrees - its a microbewery and they do food too.  I've never eaten there, but have heard good things. I wouldnt say its fun or interesting, but may be a good place to meet? Who knew there were many childless expats in and around Reading?

Hi, I live near Reading and there are quite a few places to meet although I wouldn't call them exciting (not like Oxford).  There is the Oracle shopping centre for a start which has quite a few restaurants and its a short walk from the train station.

I wonder if it would be easier for those of us in the area to connect via Facebook (if you use it) ?
