I buy things on US eBay and always have them shipped USPS first class international. Never before had a problem as long as they were under the VAT value (£15). Usually things get to me in under two weeks.
But I've now been waiting for a parcel from Michigan for a month. There is USPS tracking number but it only shows up to the point of departure from the US (Chicago on 29 May). I've heard that Royal Mail and Parcelforce are going to be tracking USPS first class soon but so far nothing on this package. I don't think it got sidetracked through customs as the value was under £15.
Does anyone know how long it can take and what, if anything, you can do if a package doesn't show up?
