Hello - Los Angeles to Borehamwood!

I'm a mom to a 1 year old, getting excited and nervous about our temporary move to Borehamwood/Elstree this year. My husband works in the movie industry and we will be near Elstree Studios in Herts for a little more than a year. I imagine working in this industry we will be back again at some point! I love history and genealogy research and I am over the moon at the prospect of having an entire year as a stay at home mom, traveling around England doing genealogy research on my English roots.

Pop into your local library when you get settled....a lot of times they have great genealogical resources. Groups and advisors and things sometimes.
