Hi everyone!!
« on: November 24, 2013, 01:00:07 PM »
Hey guys!!!
I haven't been on much at all since the big move. Things have been so stressful and crazy as you can all imagine. We're still with mom and dad, squeezed into their very small home...but grateful for a place to stay. We finally bought a car and hubby received news yesterday that he got the job he was hoping for. Still trying to sort out things back in the UK. For some reason NPower can't figure out our final bill and have us showing a £1124 CREDIT....and LloydsBank took a direct debit out of our account even though it was canceled more than a month earlier. Royal mail screwed up hubby's name on our redirection letter so his name was ELY rather than Glyn...oh and the council tax people waited till 2 months later to tell me that the outgoing occupier form I emailed them came out blank so they were looking for their money. HMRC did manage to refund Glyn his tax money fairly quickly, but honestly this whole move has been a pain in the bottom. I won't even get started with the shipping company we're using!
The plus side is though, spending lots of time with my parents, seeing my son, cuddling my kitties, and seeing everyone else has been wonderful! Oh and our flights over were great with Icelandair...highly recommend!
Hope everyone is well....we're freezing here today 9F wind chills brrrrrr!
Have a wonderful Sunday!

We've missed you!  :-*

Glad to hear things are falling into place for you there. Brrrrr, it sounds cold though.  :o  :)
