Suggestions for streaming USA TV?

Does anyone have any good websites suggestions for streaming USA TV? I didn't know this was an option but a colleague mentioned it to me today.

I don't know exactly what it's called , but my husband downloads shows on something like "torrent" ,we also have UStvnow, you can watch some shows for free or pay a monthly fee and dvr them as well.

It allows me to watch US telly online and sites like hulu
Its well worth the £4 a month and it can be used on both PC and tablet(android)

There is a site called tvtorrents.  You can download pretty much every US show from there.

Also, has anyone been watching American football on Channel 4? It's good stuff! And I think better than what the BBC did in previous years

Project Free TV is also a good place to look.

If you use Chrome, you can download the Hola app (hola.org) and it allows you to unblock sites so you can access their content from any country--I use it specifically for hulu and Netflix, but you can use it on any site.
If nothing else I use cucirca.eu to watch shows I've not been able to find elsewhere.
