The computer I use the most is my old Gateway laptop, which I love and am clinging to until it breathes its last breath.

Hubby offered to buy me a new laptop for Christmas but I said, "There's nothing wrong with this one!"

However, I do need a replacement battery. I opened the battery case and noted the details. However, when I looked online for batteries, I am getting mighty confused.
My battery model number is: AS07B71
I have found listings for replacement batteries that are meant to replace the one above. However, in the same listing, it will include the laptops it is meant to fit, and my Gateway model (MD7309U) isn't included.
To add to the confusion:
1. I have also found listings that match my battery number above, yet have different mAh and Wh numbers. (Mine is 4400 mAh/46 Wh).
2. My voltage is 11.1V, yet some batteries with the same battery model number say they are 14V or above.
Can anyone help me decipher all this? Must ALL these numbers match (Battery model #, voltage number, mAh and Wh number and laptop model number), or do I only have to order a battery based on my original battery model number?
This is one of the batteries I am considering, but don't know if it will fit!
Thank you in advance for anyone who can shed some light on this!
