My partner and I were at ASDA today and I made my usual rounds looking for pickles, reading the ingredients on jar after jar, and still disappointed to find no substitute for our beloved American pickles.
Later though, something caught my eye.
In the refrigerated section there was a Polish section. I found some pickles that were in a baggie. The ingredients don't contain vinegar or sugar, and instead has brine, water, etc. When we got home I opened them up and the smell instantly had me thinking I hit the jackpot. They're crunchy just like they should be and they taste pretty good. There is a slight difference in the taste but it's better than nothing and will hold me over until my next trip to the states.

That's what it looks like, I hope this helps those of you looking for some!
