Crafting/Decorating -- Gossamer
« on: February 25, 2014, 05:32:01 PM »
In the U.S., you can buy big rolls of gossamer fabric from party/prom supply stores.  It comes on rolls, in widths up to 107", and can be used for all kinds of decorating/crafting purposes.  If you attended a high school prom in the last 30 years, you've probably seen it.  For reference, this is what I'm talking about: http://www.stumpsparty.com/event-supplies/event-fabrics/gossamer/47452

I've been looking all over the web today, and can't seem to find it sold or even mentioned in the U.K.  The closest I've seen are voile or organza, but they're not really the same, and seem quite a bit more expensive.

Anyone have any suggestions?  Is it called something else, or is it simply not used?
