Any Recent NI Number Applicants Out There?

Hi everyone... I am a little bit confused, all these posts and all who I talk to personally from here have mentioned an interview ... I called the job center last week and the girl n the phone took some information (ie: name, birthdate, address, where I came from, and passport number) then she said she would send me some paperwork and that I had 14 days to return it too them. She mentioned that they were really backed up so it might take a little longer to get my number (not exact time frame) but that's all ... She never mentioned a physical  appointment ... Is that normal ? .. Oh I'm in Wales, I wonder if that makes a difference ...

I wasn't interviewed either.  Did you enter on a spousal visa?

From previous posts on the forum, I believe you are only required to have an interview if you are on a certain type of visa.

- If you came to the UK on a spousal visa, I don't think you need an interview.

- If you came on a fiance visa and switched to an FLR(M) after getting married, then I believe you do need to attend an interview.

Thank you .... I am on a Spouse visa ... But that's where I'm still a bit confused, a friend I met here in the forums is also on a spouse visa but she told me she has an appointment ...

I didn't need one on a spouse visa either.
