Hello there, 25 year old British Military guy who wants a life in the USA!

Hello, my name is Mike I'm 25 and live in England,
I'm currently serving in the Royal Navy and due to leave later this year.
My dream has always been to live in America, have a wife and raise a family.
I guess I'm looking for advise or information that will be useful in my quest to immigrate.
Where can I find my wife to be?? Is it possible to get to know someone online?? 
This is my dream and I'm very very serious about moving.

Hello Mike. I can try but I don't know how much help I'll be. I think the first thing you should do is make sure you really want to move and not base that decision on finding a wife. What if you get over here and you don't find someone for a long time? (I'm sure that won't happen, I don't know many American woman that don't like a man with an accent)

Also, you need to think about where you want to move. Every place is different and there are different regions and cultures in each state. Also think about the weather. I'm in North Carolina and it was 93 degrees Fahrenheit (I think that's 33 Celsius) the other day. It's gets hot and humid here!

Of course it's possible to meet someone online but you want to be careful as I'm sure you know.
