I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

Nice wee statement from John Major.

But as usual, don't read the comments section if you want to sleep soundly.

I'm drawn like a moth to the ointment by comment sections.

There was one the other day somewhere. Probably Daily Mail (got to quit that crap). This lady had been quite heavy and had lost a great deal of weight, and was now a fitness instructor. I mean it was a hell of a turn around. Of course in the comment section this a$$hat writes, "Well good on you, but you look twenty years older."

Re Robin Williams, a person wrote, "Patch Adams sucked." Why write that?

Too, anything started with "Fair enough" is going to be crappy - like, "Fair enough, but that tattoo makes you look like a hooker." The person just raised a bunch of money for a cause or something...

I've gotten to where I don't even read articles any more....like "Glacier's Retreat Blamed on Global Climate Change". I know what it is going to say....so I immediately scroll down to the comments. But really the comments are all the same too.

On Fox News, no matter what the subject, the third comment is, "O-Barmy has ruined it all". Without fail.

I play a game on that - how quickly someone can post up something bad about Obama on the most unlinked article possible! Thing is, it's even crept on to the BBC facebook comments now!

Talking of BBC facebook comments - the story about the people found in the shipping container...the number of people saying things like, "just shut the doors and ship it back" and even "just seal it up and leave it" astounded me!
"We don't want our chocolate to get cheesy!"
