Penn State to University of Nottingham
« on: August 28, 2014, 07:23:34 PM »
I recent accepted a post-doctoral fellow position at the University of Nottingham after completing my PhD at Penn State. My wife and I will move there in October, visas willing. For now I am only there for two years, but with grants being applied for the time is really indefinite. I've already gotten some use out of these forums so thought I should join and say hi. I will post a question in the visa section.

ecoguy, I am a Penn Stater as well!  Heading over to London in November, but glad we'll have more Nittany Lions in the UK! :)

Congrats, ecoguy!

I studied at the University of Nottingham a few years ago, so if you have any questions about it, let me know.  I also know a few post-docs there-- so if I can't answer, maybe they can :)  Best of luck with the impending move.
