Introducing myself
« on: August 15, 2014, 01:45:40 PM »
Hi everyone,

I just joined up as it appears you all have more knowledge than the supposed experts!!! I am a UK citizen currently living in Warminster, PA (on the outskirts of Philadelphia), I have been married almost 10 years to a US citizen, i don't yet have dual citizenship but am considering going for it soon, I am also starting the process of seeing what is needed for me to move back home (my parents are getting elderly and its tough being so far away, making me helpless), I would like to move with my wife but it seems the process hasn't been made very easy in recent years.

I hope to talk with those of you who are going through it or have done it in recent years soon. I have a few threads to read through before I ask question that a search function can find.

Steve

Welcome! I am from Doylestown PA - and have family in Warminster!  We live in NY now though. Small world!  I'm a US citizen married to my UK husband for 10 years.  He recently just became a dual national and we are moving back to the UK next year (July 14th to be exact).
This site has been great for all sorts of information and advice!
2001 - moved to the UK on a student visa
2002 - 2 year work visa (and met hubby later that year)
2004 - moved w UKC hubby to US
2012 - UKC hubby now a dual national (USC)
Apr 2015 - moved back to UK w DH and two DD
