Hello all.
   I'm originally from California. I first came to the UK in 2006, got married in 2007, went back to Cali in 2009, and came back in 2012 on a spouse visa. I'm applying for ILR in a couple months.
  My husband and I have two kids, 6 and 5 years old, respectively, and live in the West Midlands.

My family actually live in the West Midlands in the Penn and Dudley area.

I grew up in Penn, its a very nice village.

Hope you enjoy the UK, we will be moving to the UK very soon.

Hi!!! I'm originally from CA too!! Oxnard to be exact.  Now living in TN, but we're in the very beginning stages of finding work & moving to Edinburgh (or somewhere near there).  Any help you can give would be great!!  Hope to meet you sometime!

There's a Chipotle in London now! I can't remember why it showed up in my Twitter feed... but whoever is in charge of the Chipotle one said it should be really similar to the US food.

I've been really disappointed in how different the food is at the US chains, so much that I'd rather just go to UK ones like Nando's! Which is amazing if you like spicy food, it's peri-peri chicken and it's just lovely! It is however, nothing like Mexican. Is it bad that every once in awhile I'd really just like a Taco Bell taco or really good fajitas?

Oh, and I'm in the East Midlands nearish to Derby closer to Swadlincote.

I'm in the Buffalo NY area...we have the best Tacos here, "Mighty Taco". When my eldest son comes home he goes straight there from the airport and gets a "Super Mighty Pack"! haha...I think they even mail them out!

When I move to Northumberland to be with my fiance I'll have to start making some mexican food to try and get him to like them!
ps. almost ready to apply for visa (says silent prayer)
