Chicago to London is the plan...

Hello! ridiculously long time lurker here , currently in Chicago. I used to hang around the other expat site many moons ago and I'm finally(!) in the process of getting my British citizenship (UKM). I have my documents together and ready I just need to find a second referee (I have a UKC for my first one just looking for a USC with the correct professional standing for the other one) I also have some logistical questions regarding how to mail everything in from the states but I'll post those in the visa forum. Basically I've wanted to live in the UK since I was five when we visited my Nana in Worthing. Been back a few times since mostly in Somerset but we went all over the UK by train. My plan as it stands now is get my citizenship and passport, stay at my new job long enough until I can transfer to one of the London stores, and hopefully stay with friends when I get there until I can get a place (provided the offer still stands, it was made several years ago and I need to find a not terribly awkward way to bring it up again ) I don't have a definite time frame because I'm not sure what a realistic expectation for one is yet. Anyway, that's me and I look forward to actually participating in the forum now
