I don't have too much advice to offer you on this one as I didn't venture into UK educational institutions until postgrad, so I don't know how our high school qualifications transfer for UK universities. I do know that there's an American university in London that operates in line with American educational standards. There are also a ton of US schools who do semester long programs in the UK, either on their own or as an exchange type program with a UK uni. I did one when I was an undergrad and another in law school.   Good luck in your research for UK unis!

Hi! I am a teacher now in the UK and came over for my undergrad several years ago.

Do you do any APs? You might need to contact universities directly to make sure that you can enrol directly into a three year undergrad. Some universities would want you to do a 'foundation' year before you start your degree. Generally a couple (or a few) AP classes will get you around this requirement. But again, it would be wise to contact the universities directly.

I'm taking my AP's. Contacting the uni is a good idea, though. I know my number one choice will look at SAT & ACT scores and my GPA as well my AP test scores, which is nice of them.
