My names Mark and I'm originally from Evansville, Indiana USA, but I'm Living in Whitehaven, Cumbria UK until July. I work at a church over here as an intern and I'm joining so I can figure out some of the ropes of being a "Yank" in the UK.

If you get a chance to take the train, the Settle-Carlisle line that ends in Leeds (no need to do the expensive steam train) has some of the most lovely views. Definitely a great day out!
