Beer, beer and more beer. Christmas presents for ourselves, of course, but we've ordered  two Wychwood King Goblin, and eight various Fullers Vintage Ales from different years.

My Secret Santa gift for a workmate...it's a T-Shirt that says 'i am quite unusually brilliant'.  Very apt for the person!

Bath and Body Works goodies from the semiannual sale.  Lemon Vanilla and Apricot Vanilla returned this time, and none of either was at my nearest store.  I decided to order, rather than take the risk that I'd not have what I want.  I bought the Apricot Vanilla to put up for my daughter's birthday, in March.  It's her favorite.

New cases for our phones to replace the wallet style ones we both ended up hating.

Some e-books and two vintage dresses, one a sparkly 60s cocktail number for my citizenship ceremony (hasn't arrived, though, so now it's a birthday dress) and a tangerine 60s scooter dress from France.
It is difficult to speak adequately, or justly, of London. It is not a pleasant place; it is not agreeable, or easy, or exempt from reproach. It is only magnificent... the biggest aggregation of human life, the most complete compendium in the world.

I love, love, love the look of scooter dresses. I just wish I had the shape for them.

I wouldn't say I have the shape for them (my body resembles Joan Holloway rather than Twiggy or Edie Sedgwick), but I love wearing them anyway!

You're a lot closer to them than I am, and I'd guess close enough to look good in the dresses. I'm an apple shape, so I admire them on other people. :D
