hello from a returning lurker

Hello! I haunted these forums from 2008-2011 when I was going through the process of marrying a Brit and I honestly thought that once I got my own British passport I'd never look back (deleted my previous account and everything!).

Now I find myself in the unenviable position of researching current immigration rules for a British friend who intends to marry an American this summer. So much has changed!

I also find myself missing a good cry with friends over things like why won't my husband rinse the dishes and the terrible lack of a good box spring. Or any box spring.
