US: Petition for paid family leave

Wasn't sure if some here might be interested in this petition:

To me, it does seem strange that the US is seriously lacking in areas such as this.

It is so astonishing when you see lists of what other countries around the world provide. As an American, we are used to not having it. I can't imagine how wonderful and helpful it would have been.  :)
