This information is a few months old now, but I mailed in my FLR-M application on March 23rd this year and had my BRP card in hand on May 13th (lol - I could have just directed you to my signature
). They requested one supposedly missing part of the application (my husband's picture, which was definitely included to begin with but we sent another one anyway - of course
), which put things back a week or so.
As always with these things, it felt like a lifetime of anxious, fingernail chewing waiting, but it was less than 2 months start to finish. The request to get my biometrics done was about 3 and a half weeks after the application was mailed. The best part about the whole thing was the women who took my biomentrics in Durham - she was great! I'll never forget the way she made me laugh and then cracked, "get serious now, this isn't supposed to be fun". Yup, I liked her a lot..... but my picture, not so much.
