UK Settlement Visa Applied For....how long??

Hey Everyone...been a couple years...it occurred to me the last time I posted on here it was when I had finished shipping my GSD over to the UK the first time...between then and now a lot of life shifts....marriage...moved back stateside (and the GSD)...baby...house...job change for hubby...now we're shifting gears and going back to the UK...all in the span of 2 years...oh yea...baby #2 on the way. We've been busy....


We applied for my UK Settlement visa in early July...Sheffield sent me the "received" email on July 12th indicating that it was being processed...and it is the 27th today. 11 Business days later and I am crawling out of my skin wanting to have an update! My husband is currently over there about to start a new job...making a way, etc. We rented out house out over here and will be saving to buy one on that side. Yay for incidentals!

How long do you think it's going to be? How do you fight the urge to call and ask??

Chill out. This is the busy season. It once took me 6 months for processing!!

Might be worth it to pay the priority fee then?

There is currently a member that applied in April and is still waiting.

Don't call.  They know nothing about your application and charge a fortune for the call.

That is so depressing...moving forward with upgrading to priority service ASAP!
