Hi all and thanks in advance for your time! My fiance (UK citizen) and I have been getting things together to apply for the settlement visa. He's been with his company since October of last year but was initially hired at £17k per year. At his six month review in April, he was given a raise to £19k. We were going to apply in November of this year since he will have been at £19k for at least six months by then, but he noticed while doing his budgeting that his £17k salary (which is what would be taken into account if we applied early) combined with his overtime pay more than met the £18,600 requirement. The overtime income fluctuates from month to month, so we're not sure how that'd be calculated and factored into meeting the requirement though.
In short, is it possible for us to apply now combining his £17k salary and overtime income? Or would we be better off just waiting until November when it'd be a safe bet?
