I just wanted to send out a quick introduction. I am an American (sorry for stating the obvious but felt this was a good forum for me) and my wife is British. I sent my application to the UK for a spouse visa last month.

I am living in Wisconsin right now but have lived overseas for a while.

I was living in Franklin just south of Milwaukee. I went hiking in the Kettle Moraine state forest and my grandparents live in Madison so I passed by Waukesha a few times.

Sorry for not replying earlier, the past week has been busy. I received my visa last Wednesday, flew out to London on Thursday, and celebrated my wife's birthday on Sunday.

Wisconsin is a great state, I've lived in Iowa and Illinois for a longer period of time but I love the Milwaukee area.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!  Bet that must be a relief!  And no worries, I know how busy that time can be.  Enjoy!
