Does anyone know for sure if one can get a drivers licence being blind in one eye?

I believe that only one eye is allowed.  My sister is blind in one eye and drives.

You must tell DVLA if you’ve got any problem with your eyesight that affects both of your eyes, or the remaining eye if you only have one eye.
