New Yorker in Bicester
« on: October 08, 2015, 10:55:00 AM »
Hi, I am a New Yorker who moved to Bicester, UK this past July to be with my husband (a Brit/S. African). We have a son and another on the way.

Less than 3 months and I already miss NYC and hearing American English. Any Americans in the Bicester area (or Oxford area)? Would love to connect.

We are in Northampton, about an hour away! We moved from Florida last year after six years there. I'm British and my husband is originally from Indiana. We have a (almost) two year old daughter and 5 month old son. Would love to meet up if you are ever free!

There should be a fair amount of Americans in the Bicester area.....I used to work at Croughton....about 9 miles from Bicester (I think I may have lived in Bicester way back then....my memory sucks).....still an American/RAF military base there although it's not very big.

Hi! I'll be moving near Oxford with my husband in about a month, and I'd love to meet and chat. I'm from Philly originally, but I'm a New Yorker at heart (at least I tell myself that).
