From Seattle to Portsmouth... 6 years now.

Hi all.
As I say in the header, I have been here for 6 years. I arrived with a fiancé VISA and 2 cats, and am living happily with my British husband in the Portsmouth area.

I love it here, and don't plan on ever leaving, but I do miss people, places, and things in the US.

Learning about my new home has been fun and at times quite challenging. The differences are many; from Food to houses to medical care and of course the language. lol

I wish I had looked for a forum like this when I first moved here, as I can see it would have been very helpful. Hopefully I can help newbies, and continue to learn more with the help of this community.

Welcome.....grew up in SW Washington. Just recently moved back from the Spokane area.
