I really like Prince's music. And it seems like a rarity to be able to record (much less write, produce and play the instruments on) even say a handful of hits. He's got a dozen or so bonafide enduring classics. And he wrote and produced almost everything for Morris Day, and Sheila E and Vanity...all of it very original.
I never knew up until recently how well he played guitar...in that sort of effortless insouciant way every guitarist wants to play.
