They sell some American foods mostly tinted and dry foods, I was able to get a large bag of Krusteaz Pancake mix.  So I can make pancakes and waffles and muffins and they taste just like back home.. They sell a lot of their own Kirkland brand goods and the stores are laid out just like in US..

Membership is not open to the public like it is in the US, you need to have a business or be in certain jobs or retired from them.. I used to work of Bank of New York before I retired and they accepted that as evidence for membership..

Not that I have a Costco near me, but that's funny that I can get a membership as a Chartered Engineer!

I know others have posted before that if you don't qualify to be a member that you get membership in the US and that transfers just fine.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

Costco is the only place I've been able to find all beef hot dogs. They were expensive though if I remember correctly (I want to say it was like £6 for a pack of 10 last time I was able to go to a Costco)! I sadly can't get a membership but If I could I would just for the hot dogs haha

Weirdly enough, I didn't even realise that...I thought anybody could just go and get a membership. I have one through my work but I didn't know that you couldn't just walk in and get one without qualifying a business..... The more you know, eh?
My, how time flies....

That was weird to me too. Until I remembered that Sam's Club in the US (around 1988) was only open to businesses too.

You still have to have a membership to shop at Sam's, they may have opened membership to the public though... My dad has had his own company so my mom just keeps renewing membership.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Sam's Club back in the day was only offering memberships to businesses but it's not like that anymore. You still have to pay a membership fee of $45 but it's open to everyone.
