I got my passport back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
« on: November 19, 2004, 10:34:32 AM »
Just arrived an hour ago, complete with a the 1 year FLR visa!  I can't remeber the last time I felt so releaved! We are leaving for the US on Monday morning, so I don't think we could have cut it any closer.

It's so nice to have something actually go right for a change!

House - SORTED (mostly)
Holiday (meet the Parents) - SORTED
Baby - 26 weeks and counting!!

I called my partner straight away and told her the good news.  We both agreed to plan a wedding before the year is up so that don't have to go through this work permit B.S. again.  Getting a visa may sound like a silly reason to get married to some people, but I am not going to go thru this again.  Plus, we do fancy each other very much ;)
