I'm at a loss for words for the gratitude we feel towards this resource, UK Yankee. We were frustrated many times sifting through information, double and triple checking things. You all have helped give us a gift that is, although quite expensive when you crunch the actual numbers, so very priceless to all of us here - togetherness. There is nothing in the world like sharing life with your best friend and life partner, and we couldn't be more anxious to finally be on the precipice of that sweet spot! Thank you for responding to my husband and I's questions and consistently returning to this platform to provide people like us up-to-date information about the processes. We are so very grateful for you all!!!!!
We'll be back undoubtedly for more information on preparing for the next step.
A little about me (and I know there are other areas on the forum for this) - If anyone happens to be in the Greater Manchester and/or Bolton area I'd love to connect!
I'm anxious to prep my resume/CV for work and am interested in entry level/junior graphic designer roles, marketing communication roles in charity/design environments, or anything that gets me into an architecture/interior design firm setting even as an intern. I'm prepared to work at the grocery store around the corner and even kinda love the idea of maybe starting out in an Ikea. Who knows! Tips/insights are welcome.
Thank you all again! For anyone reading this - stay distracted during the wait and never give up hope. All good things come to those who wait.
