Residence Card

Hello,
My husband is American and he is living with me in UK. He's currently on EEA Family Permit Visa. He has applied for a Residence Card 2 weeks ago. At the time I was still working for 'Reed' working agency. I am now on maternity leave as our baby is due in a few days. Today I have received a call from the work agency that they have to close my position because I am receiving Maternity Allowance from the Job Centre and not the agency and I will be given contract directly from my employer after returning to work.
My concern is - do I need to inform the Home Office that the situation has changed and I'm not employed at the moment?
