Bank statement, stamp and letterhead question

You will need 12 months of bank statements (the latest one dated no more than 28 days before you apply online) showing total earnings over the 12 months (either in the US or the UK).

So it depends on the date you apply for the visa and if he's been paid yet in the UK at the time you apply.

So, say he moves to the UK on February 15th and you apply for the visa on April 15th.

You will need US bank statements covering the 10 months from April 15th 2016 to Feb 15th 2017 and then UK bank statements covering the 2 months from Feb 15th to April 15th 2017.

They either need to be stamped or signed by the bank on EVERY PAGE, or accompanied by a letter from the bank confirming authenticity.

Alternatively, if the statements have been mailed to him by the bank or printed by the bank in-branch they do not need to be stamped. It's only online banking statements that you have printed at home that do need stamping.
