Beltain (or Beltane) is an ancient Celtic celebration of the beginning of summer, with music, dancing and the burning of the giant Wicker Man.

Sounds great!

But whatever you do....if they elect/choose you as "honoured guest".....pass on it.
I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

I'll try to post some pictures - it was a pleasant afternoon with a real festival atmosphere.  It wasn't like fireworks where people just show up, watch, then leave.  It was a proper event with a bar and a stage and lots of hippies dancing.

The one thing they had that was deeply disturbing - Morris Dancers!  These were not the Twee grandad Morris Dancers, these were like scary punk rock dancers with blacked faces, hitting each other with sticks.
