Help
« on: May 30, 2017, 08:05:15 PM »
Hi I'm trying to help someone on Facebook. Can you lovely smart visa experts help me. When they apply, they will be back at work for 2 months after maternity leave. I know with maternity leave, you can use the 6 months prior to going on maternity leave to show you meat the financial requirement (I did this). But they are a little more complicated.

They work in salary and bonuses. The last 4 months before maternity they were reduced to part time due to pregnant related illness. Do they calculate the requirement by adding up all 6 months wages dividing by 6 multiplying by 12?  Or is it 12 months salary??

Ok. I have a little bit more info. She is on maternity he's in ssp. She made £6600+ the 6 months before maternity leave. He made £5500+ the 6 months before his sick pay, they both can use the 6 months before their leave as per page 32 section 5.5.19 of the financial requirement yes??? So thats £12,100 in a 6 month period. Have I calculated this correctly??

Are talking a British citizen sponsoring a spouse?

Which one is the Brit?

What visa is the non-EEA citizen on?

Get them to join the forum, to save you going back and forward.

Yes she is the British citizen. They will be applying for flr(m) currently on spouse visa.

I did mention the forum but I think she's just panicking at the moment.
